Support and bug reports
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Herkos is a small independent project. There is no help desk and no account for us to look up: we never see your mail, your calendar or your key. These are the ways to reach us.
Never send your key
Nobody from Herkos will ever ask for your private key (nsec), your sync code or a bunker secret. Anyone who does is not us. Do not put them in a report, a screenshot or a message, not even "just to check".
A bug you can show in public
For now, these go to hello@herkos.email too. Herkos's source code is not public yet, so its GitHub issues are not open to everyone; when it is, this page will link the forms to report a bug in public.
Anything private
Write to hello@herkos.email: bugs that only show with your own data, questions, anything you would rather not post in public.
In Herkos Calendar, Settings → Report a problem prepares the text for you: the app's version, your platform, your time zone and the time, and nothing from your events. You complete it, copy it and send it yourself; the app sends nothing on its own.
Security problems
Not in a public issue: write to security@herkos.email. More on the Security page.
What helps us most
- What you did, step by step.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- The date and exact time, and your time zone (for anything about the calendar or reminders).
- The app's version (Settings → About) and your platform: Android, Windows, Linux or the web.
- Whether it always happens, or only sometimes.
How long it takes
Herkos is made by very few people. We read everything and answer within a few days; during the beta of Herkos Calendar, testers get an answer within 48 hours.
